Let myself go in postprocessing. A bit too much I guess?

I updated the layout of my blog so I can post photos of 900 pixels! I also decided to only put one photo on a page. To “celebrate” a panorama from Haspengouw. I still have to tweak the sidebar, which I put at the bottom, but that’s for later. Comments are welcome! Want it bigger? Want more posts on one page? Let me know!
Something completely different today. No Spain, but the magnificent country of Belgium.
Last weekend we had extremely nice weather, with very nice evenings. This shot is from sunday, a lovely evening. I took the car and drove around a bit, looking for some nice fields, which I found evenutally in Reet. It’s an hdr from four shots: 1.3s, 6s, 13s and 25s at f11, ISO 100.
There’s something mystical about an empty road…
Which one do you like best? Both shots taken in Germany at our last trip. The second one is taken in Rudesheim, the first somewhere between the Rhein and the Mosel where there are brilliant landscapes.
Techs and postprocessing after the jump.
A small tree in the wineyards at the banks of the Rhein in Rüdesheim, Germany. We spent four days at the Rhein and the Mosel last week and it was a lovely weekend: very relaxing, nice wheather, delicious white wines and tremendous amounts of flesh on the German restaurant menus. I think I gained a little weight back there.
I put some unprocessed shots from the trip in this Flickr set. Enjoy!
