This is the village of Erbalunga in the north of Corsica. It is a small peninsula and the village is almost litterally standing in the sea. The wheather had been stormy (again) all day and the waves were really beating the coast. This 15sec exposure got me really wet
I decided to stick with this one, although I wanted an even longer exposure to get the water to be even silkier. But then again, the rocks are still nicely visible in the foreground. Used a 2 stop GND filter to hold back the sky.
Trevelez is the higest village of Europe and is famous for the fact that the well-known Serrano ham is being dryed in this village. Unfortunately we were there during siesta hours, but it was still a very beautiful and cosy little village. Just a little quiet at that time of the day
All the houses in the Alpujarras have very typical chimneys:
